Suresh Gogia - a builder from Mumbai and a Shree Ganesh devotee, visited Diveagar to sight upon the much famed "Suvarna Ganapati Mandir". It was during this trip that he decided he must share the beauty of such a paradise with the rest of the world. So joining hands with his partner Mr. Rajesh, they purchased this land spread besides the beach, built beautiful luxurious cottages with all modern amenities, special care to landscape with maximum natural lush greens, just a two minute walk from the beach, Shree Ganesh Beach Resort came into existence, made available to the public from 25th April 2011.
