My name is Narsingh Rajput. I was born on 22-01-1970 in Sasaram, Bihar. I did my schooling from Varanasi, U.P till 12th Standard. Then I moved to Delhi for higher education, I did B.A (Hons.) History from Delhi University and master’s in personnel management from University of Poona. If I put emphasis on my family’s background then my father was officer in agriculture Department, Bihar government and he retired from there. After my post graduation I did one year diploma in Film Direction from Zee Institute of creative Arts (ZICA). I came to Mumbai in 1998 and started my career in direction with serials like Amanat and challenge with Sanjeev Bhatacharya. Challenge used to come on Sony and Amanat was telecasted on ZEE. Furthermore, I started working on small projects. I, also joined Magna Sound India Ltd., which is a big music company. There I was a production in charge and I did many hit songs like Sonu Nigam’s ‘Mausam’ , Hariharan videos and many more. I was also in Nimbus communication Limited in production department and did one serial of Doordarshan (Kahani Saat Phero ki). Then I finally entered in Films. My first film as a production controller was Hritik Roshan’s and Saif Ali Khan’s movie ‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum’ and after that Paresh Rawal’s starring ‘Wah Wah Ramji’. After these movies, I opened my own company with my brother and a friend named Mr. Surendra Bhatia. There we made our first film ‘ FUN - can be dangerous sometimes’, Marathi movie ‘Vishwas’, Bhojpuri ‘Dulha milal dildar’ and then Hindi Feature Film ‘Tom Dick and Harry’ in 2006 and ‘Rama rama kya hai drama’ in 2008. I was an executive producer in all these films. Now ‘Tom Dick and Harry returns’ starring Sharman Joshi, Aftab Shivdasani and Jimmy Shergill is under production in which I am a producer. Recently I directed a short Film named ‘Push Scooter’ for digital media. I am working for a lot more short films and Feature Films which I have to make in future.
