The second edition of Christie’s Jewels Online: Summer Sparkle online-only auction will celebrate diamonds in all shapes and colours. Being held from 4th-18th August, the sale is led by the 24.45-carat D colour, IF, Type IIa heart-shaped diamond pendant. With its estimate of $1.55 to 2.55 million, this stone is the highest valued jewel ever offered in an online sale at Christie’s, eclipsing the previous record set in June 2020.
Another top highlight is ‘The Summer Sunrise, ’ a fancy vivid orange yellow diamond ring of 9.83 carats, VS1 clarity ($600, 000-800, 000), which captures the warmth of the season.
Other sale highlights include classic diamond jewellery offered at no reserve, such as a diamond ring of 6.29 carats, D colour, IF ($250, 000-350, 000); diamond earrings with each diamond weighing 5.01 carats and D colour ($180, 000-220, 000); and an emerald-cut diamond ring of 5.06 carats, H colour ($50, 000-60, 000). Additionally, the sale features striking coloured diamonds in unique settings offering fresh takes on traditional engagement rings such as a fancy vivid yellow diamond ring of 3.02 carats ($60, 000–80, 000) and a fancy intense pink diamond, coloured diamond and diamond ring ($40, 000-60, 000).
